Made by Frederick Charles Sharp, a photographer operating out of 27a High Street Hitchin. Frederick appears in the business directory of 1926 which may help to date this photograph. A decade before Frederick Sharp 27a High Street was the listed address of another Hitchin photographer, Henry George Moulden who features in the business directories of 1912 and 1917.
This was found along with other objects relating to the Sayer family across the 20th Century in a skip in Letchworth in 1999.
