Archaeological reports
The Museum Service had a field archaeology team during the 1980s and early 1990s. During that time, it produced reports on much of the work it had carried out.
By the late 1980s, these reports included commercially-funded evaluation reports, most of which were numbered as a series, as well as summaries for internal use. From 1994 onwards, when the field team was wound up, we have occasionally produced reports continuing in this series.
