Let your students experience the festive season as it was over a century ago. In this workshop children will explore real Victorian objects, gaining insight into how Christmas was celebrated in the past. They’ll create their own copy of the very first Christmas card, unpack and compare stockings from a wealthy child and a poorer child and discover the differences in their festive gifts.

For an extra special hands-on activity, students can also make a beautifully scented traditional pomander using oranges and cloves. (Extra £2.50 per child to cover materials).
