Unlock the mysteries of medieval castles in our engaging KS1 Castles workshop!

In this engaging KS1 workshop students will explore the topic of castles through a series of interactive activities. They will explore life after 1066, learning what happened in the aftermath of the Battle of Hastings and how people lived during that time. They’ll have a chance to build their own castle and handle real objects and armour from the era, offering a hand-on connection to history.

Along the way they’ll discover fascinating details about daily life, including how people washed, ate, and even went to the loo, providing a fun and immersive look into the past.
