The Discovery of a Wealthy Roman Burial at Kelshall

In 2014, a metal detectorist discovered some Roman bronze vessels on an exposed hilltop site in Kelshall.

It was obvious that they came from something important, so the museum organised a small excavation to find out what else might be there. It revealed a huge cremation burial with glass vessels, including two unique millefiori dishes. Why was it there and what does it tell us about the man whose burial held these amazing items?
