From Yemen to Letchworth: the ceramic work of Abdo Nagi

This talk is about the internationally known potter, Abdo Nagi.

Explore his roots as a Yemini goatherd, his life and work in North Herts until his death in 2001. We will walk through how his heritage influenced his forms and also look at other 20th century artists, such as Lucie Rie, who influenced him.
