Collections of Life and Death

Life and death is something that unites us all.

We have many objects that represent people’s most important moments in our collection, from births to deaths, weddings to funerals. This talk will chart that journey, Curator Matt Platt will pick out and explore notable objects and what they tell us about life and death rituals among the people in North Hertfordshire.
