About the tutor
Beth Fairchild of FERN studio is a self-taught concrete casting artist who works from her garden studio in Hitchin. She produces small homeware pieces in small batch repeat casting. Her products are stocked in over 50 small independent retailers across the UK and the USA.
She works in a sustainable manner, and her studio is almost entirely zero-waste, making her work a popular choice for eco-friendly and ethically minded customers. Her influences for products come from her love of brutalist architecture and her desire to create timeless, slow-made products to last a lifetime.
