Make Historic Jewellery – Family Craft Workshop
Join us for a hands-on workshop that steps back in history! Inspired by the intricate and impressive designs of the Anglo-Saxon and Viking periods, this session invites you to make your very own historic craft jewellery to take home.
This is a fun, creative session where families can work together to design and make a unique Saxon or Viking-inspired disc brooch.
You will use metal sheets or clay to capture the look of the incredible artistry from these historical periods. It’s a great chance to connect with history and leave with a special, handmade clay or embossed jewellery to wear or keep!
This workshop is designed for families to create together and is suitable for all ages (adult supervision recommended for younger children). All materials are provided.
£5 per person or Family ticket – £16 for 4 people
Tutor: Cas Sanders – North Herts Museum Education Curator
Don’t forget, you can present your ticket or receipt at our café on the day of the event to receive 10% off your order.
