Discover the fascinating stories behind some of the plants that have contributed to modern medicines, then create your own mini medicinal bouquet using watercolour and ink.
To complement her exhibition in the Arches Gallery, Becky will be leading this unique workshop. She will guide you through simple, expressive painting techniques to help you capture flowers, leaves and berries, bringing your bouquet to life.
No previous painting experience is needed. Simply come along, experiment with watercolour, and uncover the hidden healing properties of the plants around us.

All materials and equipment will be provided.

About the artist: Becky Ullah is a Hertfordshire-based artist with a love of experimenting across different painting styles and materials. Her work ranges from bold, colourful acrylic paintings to detailed botanical watercolours, as well as loose, playful watercolour and ink pieces.
With a background in medicine and horticulture, Becky often explores the connections between plants, nature and the human body, a theme reflected in her Hidden Healing exhibition. She enjoys sharing her techniques through relaxed, friendly workshops, helping people discover what they can create with a paintbrush, whatever their level of experience.
