Let’s get creative and make a charming fabric collage featuring a beautiful bird surrounded by lovely flowers on canvas.
Guided step-by-step by Yoshie – a fabric-based mixed media artist with over 18 years’ experience in original and commercial artworks – you’ll learn how to combine a pre-painted background with layers of textured fabric to create a unique, expressive piece.
Use the provided templates or design your own composition, and enjoy an intuitive, relaxing evening with like-minded people.
All materials and light refreshments are provided.
Please note: This session involves the use of scissors, tweezers and PVA glue.

About the tutor
Yoshie Allan is a Japanese-born, Uk-based artist, illustrator and designer with a passion for running creative workshops. Inspired by nature, personal memories and her life between Japan and the Uk, Yoshie brings a playful touch to her mixed media art.
With over a decade of experience, her work includes picture books, bespoke projects and international collaborations, such as co-founding the design duo Sas and Yosh, known for mural designs in hospitals and commercial spaces. Her workshops are welcoming, hands-on and crafted to help participants relax, have fun and explore their creative side.
