The Poor Fellow-Soldiers of Christ and of the Temple of Solomon (The Knights Templar) and their North Hertfordshire connections

The Poor Fellow-Soldiers of Christ and of the Temple of Solomon are better known as the Knights Templar. 

This talk looks at both the history of the Knights and of their holdings in North Hertfordshire, including Baldock and Temple Dinsley. It also casts a critical eye over their supposed connections with Royston Cave and recent ideas that they survived their suppression in the fourteenth century to re-emerge as the Masons in the seventeenth.
