‘No worldly goods to worry about’, the art of William Ratcliffe
Plus three oils by fellow artist Spencer Gore
For a few years in the early 20th century, this quiet and unassuming man unexpectedly became part of The Camden Town Group of young British artists.
With them, he exhibited at the famous Post Impressionist and Futurist exhibition in London in 1913, with Piccasso, Cezanne and Van Gogh, as well as his friends Harold Gilman and Spencer Gore.
