Other museums in North Hertfordshire
Alongside North Hertfordshire Museum, the district has five other museums, each contributing uniquely to our local heritage landscape. These museums are not run by North Hertfordshire District Council.
Hitchin British Schools Museum
Hitchin British Schools Museum is run by the Hitchin British Schools Trust. It is on the site of the first school in the county ‘for the sons of the labouring poor’, which opened on Queen Street in 1810.
