Children’s Toys

Roll-a-penny board gameFree family fun this summer holiday!

Drop in to our Learning Centre and have a go at some of the toys and games that your grandparents would have played with. Some are replicas and some are real museum objects.

Every Tuesday throughout the school break we will be laying out the toys for anyone to have a go at. 11am – 12pm and 2pm – 3pm

All children must be supervised by an adult. No need to book.

Whilst continuing our work in the Social History store, we have been coming across lots of boxes marked ‘Toys’.

These boxes contain a variety of items; including card games, dolls, model animals, walkers and books, some of which are in very good condition and have obviously been well cared for.

The photos below show some of the toys we have come across so far.

Enjoy!
