Join us for an evening talk with our Assistant Curator, Matthew Platt.
This talk will chart the journey from birth to death, picking out some notable objects and exploring what they tell us about life and death rituals among the people in North Hertfordshire.
Births, deaths, weddings and funerals – just some of the moments represented in our museum collection. These objects, representing important moments to people, have been added to our museum’s collection across more than a century. They tell the story of life and death and how people in North Hertfordshire have marked the moments that we all face.
